Complete lack of response stuck in WA with closed borders since early 2020. have repeatedly asked for refund of booked flight to Vietnam for May 2020 blankly refused. I would call this thieving as they took my money and ran !!

I booked my flight from bengaluru to hongkong with layover in kuala lampur on 6Jan2022. I also booked 3 week government designated hotel for quarantine (non refundable).i received a cancellation message that my flight from kuala lampur to hong kong has been cancelled due to covid restriction, though Malaysia was not in the restricted country list. Customer service representative told me that only half of the booking is cancelled and the booking from bangalore to kuala lampur on 6 jan is still active. I dont know why they cancel only half booking and not complete booking. They gave me option to rebook the flight from kuala Lumpur to hong kong is on 17th jan. i dont know why they were offering such option and what will i do from 6th jan to 17th jan on kuala lampur airport. For the refund they said it will take 3 month to 6 months.I dont know what to do with my 3 weeks nonrefundable quarantine hotel booking in hong kong as other flight rates have shoot up by 34 times by now. Also getting refund for cancellation is not easy from Malaysian airlines.I will never do the same mistake to book and rely on this airline.

OK flight to Kuala Lumpur from Singapore, and always a pleasure flying with Malaysia Airlines. Ticket was very affordable even cheaper than the lowcost competitor. Check in was done online but it's a shame that they do not let you choose your own seat on the flight (no other seat options available). However, ground staff at KUL was quite unpleasant, with most of them looking really moody and unhelpful. Cabin crews were extremely pleasant otherwise, helpful and attentive with a smile on their face always. Narrow body jets are used for their domesticregional flights, and seat pitch was slightly tight for a tall guy like me but otherwise acceptable for a 2 hours flight. Food was alright. However, Malaysia Airlines are dry on short flights.

I started in Bangkok with Malaysia Airlines to Heathrow. Checkin and boarding were fine, if rather chaotic. There were friendly smiles from the flight crew, but once on board, my overall impression was rather disappointing, with a 45minute delay departing from Bangkok, and the appearance of the seats was disgusting. They had obviously not been cleaned in a long time. The B737800 appeared to be new, but very heavily worked. There was a cold snack, free on this flight, but its preparation lacked originality, and there was no beer, despite the late flight.A positive point about the service was an offer of extra beverages during clean up. The flight crew were very professional. Always cheerful and attentive, they helped distract me from my problems with comfort.Once at Kuala Lumpur I had to run to make my connecting flight, but we left 45 minutes late and the plane wasn't full, which put a big smile on my face. The meals were very bad, with no option other than fish on the long haul, and since I'm allergic to fish there was no main course for me.The flight attendants were apologetic (I wasn't hungry anyway), and were friendly and attentive.Since the plane was empty I could use 3 seats to take a nap, However, this was a flight with a lot of turbulence. The pilot had to ask us to rebuckle our seatbelts several times, which was a little scary. In short, it wasn't the best flight I've ever taken but it was still OK.

A pretty basic flight from Melbourne to Kuala Lumpur. There was no airport lounge and more, and no priority boarding, another point against MH. However, the flight was very cheap.Boarded an Airbus A330. The layout was 221. Seats are large and very comfortable, with a lot of legroom. Pretty good.Ok meal, but very small quantity. Steamed fish. Hmmm. My prebooked meal didn't make it. No menus, and the crew were forced to write down what they had on a paper napkin. The flight was OK, decent movies. One small negative aspect was that they handed out blankets full of holes. Once we had landed, baggage claim was fast and we headed for Klia express for 3 days in Kuala Lumpur.
