Emirates passenger reviews

Emirates reviews are pretty favourable, with most passengers enjoying the above average Emirates inflight experience, although it can be a little mixed on shorter flights. Emirates Seats which include a great new business class seat, and the Emirates Fleet includes the Boeing 777, which deliveres an uprated experience in all cabins. All seats on the longhaul aircraft have Emirates inflight entertainment seatback TV screens, with AVOD play on demand. There is also Emirates inflight wifi on the Boeing 777. Emirates inflight meals are generally pretty good, and all are complementary. Emirates Drinks are also free on board.
International Business Class
Seat not the best, some old style recliners.
Food good, and with a walk up bar
Lounges great at many locations.
International Economy Class
Seat is OK, but very narrow on the 777.
Entertainment Ok, lots of choice, very US based
Food & Drinks so-so food: not really the best. Free bar.
Aircraft Boeing 777 to be avoided.

7/10 | Economy Shorthaul | Aircraft Changes | Dubai to Johannesburg

It doesn't make sense as to how a luggage bag can be left behind while the owner arrives ahead of it. it's either your bag doesn't arrive at all, arrives late with some things missing (especially when you connect at Johannesburg), or your bag arrives but with damages. The flight and the flight crew are amazing, but only if attention and respect can be directed too to our precious luggage, everything will be fine. Please, take extra care when it comes to handling and transporting our luggage!!!

10/10 | Economy Longhaul | Boeing 777 | Dublin to Phuket

I have flown with this company on two occasions to Thailand from Dublin, Ireland. Everything was perfect. The staff take care of you excellently. Nothing is too much for the staff to make sure you have a flight to remember. Thank you so much Emirates. Hope to fly with you soon.

6/10 | Business Class Longhaul

I can't help but be disappointed. Boarding was chaotic, and I was forced in the Economy queue despite having a Business Class ticket. Business class passengers have to give priority to economy class! the Business Class seat is narrow (232 seating in business class). Extensive film selection, but the info and guidance (for choosing films) in the paper Magazine seemed to have been written by an idiot.

Disappointed very narrow seats

5/10 | Economy Longhaul

The service is very poor and some cabin crew can appear disinterested. I previously used British Airways which has excellent service levels and was expecting similar service and better from Emirates and was sorely disappointed. The aircraft used from Gatwick have tiny seats and I was squashed and worried for my safety as I was in a row of three, and I worried about how I would get out in a hurry, Although my flight to Dubai from London was on a new fleet.Emirates seats are the smallest I've experienced with 10 abreast, whereas BA use 9 abreast to Dubai. The cabin crew can miss rows when serving meals or drinks and it's just an annoying service.I expected so much and had high hopes and was very disappointed. All style with no substance.

Cost cutting at Emirates continues

Recommended
5/10 | Economy Longhaul

I always fly with Emirates and normally have good experiences with the airline even in Economy. Flying to Sydney this year its clear to see an awful lot of costcutting at play with Economy Class. Alas it is sad to see that gone are the days of personalised service, care for passengers or the little perks that used to make travelling with them so great.Even the hot towels having been ditched, as has the second meal service out of Gatwick. Its a shame to see such a good airline go down the low cost route, but at least they keep the price low now.
