Food is slightly better in First Class, with trays of sandwiches that are actually pretty good. Other than that, it's a question of bags of crisps, olives, and cheese and biscuits. There are also some apples, closely wrapped in cling film, in the American style. Notices give stern warnings about the penalties if you take these onto a flight. For serious pre-flight dining you have to nip over to the business side.
