Food on LAN Airlines long-haul is plentiful, good, and free.
Plastic knives & forks are used on all flights to Australia, and the US. Elsewhere they are metal.

A fairly decent breakfast this, and certainly ideal if you've just woken up after a long trans-atlantic flight. The omelette is done really well, with a light, delicate, texture and lots of cheesy flavour. The hash brown less so, but that's made up for by the excellent tomatos.
The croissant is equally good, but what's odd are the three cheese crackers. Why? There is no loose cheese on the plate. It isn't the right time of day, it's just odd.

Ah, a bit of a disappointment looms with this one. It is OK, but what is described on the menu as a large cold cuts platter ends up with, well, not a lot. True, you can make a decent sandwich out of the cheese and the croissant, but then what do you do with the jam?
Mind you, the fruit bowl is good, with everything fresh and just right.
